I'm a young, vivacious woman with terrible health. I'd like to blame genetics and situations beyond my control for this, but I know it is partly my fault. I decided I was sick of feeling like "twenty five is the new fifty two," so I changed my diet and lifestyle to help fix my declining health. No one my age should have a blood pressure of 190/110. This is where I write about it.

(So insanely tired, and I think I am getting sick. This is reinforced by the fact that my coworker across the hall is also sick.)
I get home an immediately hit the couch and pass out for an hour. I am awoken by the fact that my phone keeps ringing off the hook, so I give up on napping and return some of the phone calls.
I have kind of a complex about my arms, so I do a few different exercises with 5lb dumbells while I play a song (about 4-5 minutes) every day. I was so tired that I found this rather difficult. Even showering was a chore.
My room mate, Renee, came home at about 9pm, and we went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. It was nice to finally connect with her, because we rarely see each other these days. Dining out makes me nervous because I hate not being able to find calorie counts for things! Unfortunately for me, I found it online this morning:
9:45pm- Cheesecake Factory

Guacamole and Tortilla Chips (shared with Renee)Fresh Vegetable Salad w/Pomegranate Dressing on the side

Dinner was really enjoyable. Its funny that we live together, but really haven’t seen one another for weeks now. I love Renee to death.
Arrived home after stopping at Walgreens to pick up Emergen-C and Snackin’ Flax, and was entirely ready to go to bed.

Then my phone rang, and Peter wanted to catch up for an hour. I was OK with that, because I haven’t talked to him in awhile. He had a really entertaining story to share about a date he went on that resulted in a girl making him take her through the drive-thru at McDondals for dinner.
“I don’t mean to sound judgemental, Leah, but she ordered two Filet-o-Fish. TWO of them!”
How fitting. I had nightmares about fish sandwiches that night.
