I'm a young, vivacious woman with terrible health. I'd like to blame genetics and situations beyond my control for this, but I know it is partly my fault. I decided I was sick of feeling like "twenty five is the new fifty two," so I changed my diet and lifestyle to help fix my declining health. No one my age should have a blood pressure of 190/110. This is where I write about it.

I am excited because Andy comes home tonight. This will be the first time I will hang out with him since our big argument back in mid-July. I initially had told him not to contact me anymore, but after a few weeks of not speaking, and an awkward run-in at the end of July, he apologized and we decided that maintaining some form of friendship was mutually beneficial.
He has been gone for the entire month of August, and will be coming back home this evening. We are taking his friends from Donnybrook to dinner, so that will alleviate any residual awkwardness between us.
I’m more annoyed because the last time he saw me, I was standing outside th buses in my flowered dress, looking all cute, and eight pounds lighter than I am now. Ugh.
At least we are going to one of my favorite healthy/vegan places for dinner, so being able to find something suitable to eat will be one less thing to be stressed out about.
